The Castle of Diósgyőr, which earlier belonged to Hungarian king Louis the Great, provides insight into the daily life of the Middle Ages. The first stone theatre in Hungary was built in Miskolc in 1823, and this starting place for Déryné and other famous Hungarian actors and actresses is revived in the Theatre Museum.

The group is greeted by Louis the Great and his court in period dress and then ushered through the rooms of the medieval castle. Daily life, skirmishes and battles of the Middle Ages are revived. The tour is rounded off by an atmospheric dinner.

Eger, an atmospheric medieval town, is not only renowned for its monuments and traditions, but also for its excellent wines. Taste famous wines of the Eger Wine Region, like “Egri Leányka” or “Egri Bikavér” (Bull’s Blood) in one of the wineries of the Szépasszony-völgy (“Valley of the Beautiful Woman”).
